Specially designed and manufactured rope for playgrounds. It is a combination rope of 6 galvanized steel strands, that have a resistance of 160 kg/mm2. It has a high tenacity and a great resistance to abrasion. That combination of fiber and steel makes this rope highly effecty against vandalism.
1 - The rope diameter
The most common size for our playground combination ropes is 16mm. But you can also get 12mm, 14mm,18mm or even 20mm and 22mm for your choices.
2 - The sheathing
The sheathing is made of multi-fibre material. The sheathing is high quality braided polyester ropes.
3 - The yarn
The yarn is made of polyester and is highly UV resistant. The colors remain brilliant and bright, even after years of use.
4 - The core
Depending on the intended application, the core is made of either synthetic fiber or steel.
5 - The steel braid
To obtain maximum corrosion protection, the steel braid is heavily galvanized or is given an aluminium-zinc alloy ductile coating.
